watta wkend!

this is the first time we actually get to do our live production sans our leaders! jean's on a hol while jeff can only serve in the 7pm service on sunday. so, that's as good as saying that the people who usually serve in miracle service and sunday morning services (me included) were left on our own pretty much last night and this morning. haha...

jean had appointed me to lead the team then, and it was my first taste of what it is like to lead a team - it wasn't easy and there was a lot of work to do! talk about responsibility as well. thank God that i've been helping out to do stuff like making sure that tapes were cued, cameras looking fine, switcher up and working, and various other things that the leaders usually make sure were in order. hence i wasn't too nervous about it. actually...i kinda like the experience. in a way, it builds me up in terms of taking initiative, being more responsible and alert, etc.

there were a few things we missed, of course. but that was minor. we just gotta take note of them and hopefully not forget about them. hehe. this is prolly the first time that i really felt tired after producing for two days straight, including switching for the two services today; a lotta coordination when you're doing producing and switching at the same time. well, i like it! :p i guess i like to keep myself occupied to the fullest. i dislike wasting precious time away...maybe once a while a lil bit of idling is fine, but not regularly. lol.

oh, and thank God that risa was able to help us out too! we'd a short but wonderful breakfast this morning, before heading to church. it's been a while since we hang out and that was a nice one, though we could do with more time. mmm...there's always next time! i just pray that she won't be too caught up with work to hang out, dear Lord. it was nice to catch up with her after a few months of not seeing her, except when she's doing camera during her team's turn to serve the Lord.

i am blessed...yea...coming to think of it, i'm blessed :)
