being grateful

...for so many things in life. i was in deep thoughts as i pondered over the wonderful brothers n sisters in Christ whom God has placed along my journey on earth. as i listened intently to my cell leaders jon n shelle sharing about e need for a ministry and/or a cell grp is vital in e sense that when any of us need encouragement, comfort and support, we can always be assured that we will gain 'em from our fellow brethrens. also, combined prayers are stronger ("for when two or three are gathered together, there I am in e midst of them") n transcend over every situation and circumstance, obstacles that we may be facing. there's absolute power in prayers!!! hence, we musn't neglect our prayer life as well as reading e word of God.

a christian who's alone (i.e. doesn't participate in a ministry, cell group or any other church activity) can easily be disheartened when things that happened don't favor them. and bcos they're not involved in any part of e church body, it's even tough for them to shoulder the heavy burdens alone. yes, 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our anxieties onto our heavenly Father, and we should commit Him our cares. however, He'd never intended for us to face e situation alone; that's y He provided the church, and within the church, different ministries n cell groups! we need support n encouragement n prayer from others as well! God put wonderful people in our lives to inspire n motivate us, n for sharing our burdens! we ought to be thankful to Him for that! :D

likewise, e Lord has placed a couple of sisters in my life as inspirational and motivational role models after Christ! i'm so blessed n grateful for these wonderful souls, namely, oli, risa, jean, shelle. through their lives n testimonies they shared, i've learned to grow spiritually as well as trusting God for my future plans like studying and working. God bless their souls! i'm also grateful to my Father for e rest of the bros n sisters in Christ whom i've known!

we should really pause for a moment and think of the blessings which God has given unto us, including e people who've helped us in a way or another, be it through prayer or financially, physically or spiritually, etc.

well...such a nice moment to cease whatever i was doing n think of awesome people God has provided me with!
